**Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from MajorPonghead!**

December 15, 2023. While the league takes a short break for the holidays, we here at Majorponghead offices are feeling particularly festive, in part because we finally convinced our stingy editorial board to OK our first ever quiz challenge! So here are the simple rules: answer five trivia questions about MLTT, email your answers to majorponghead@gmail.com, and the first submission (as determined by time stamp on the email) with all 5 correct answers will win a $100 Amazon gift card, just in time for the holidays! But here’s the thing, we aren’t giving up the prize that easy…we’ve come up with five super challenging questions (increasingly difficult) that will prove how big of an MLTT fan you really are…only the DIE HARD fans will even have a chance! So without any further ado, here we go:

Question 1 (difficulty level: easy): Who was the first player drafted by a Western Division team?

Question 2 (difficulty level: easy): Name the two players who are a married couple, and name their respective teams.

Question 3 (difficulty level: medium): Amy Wang is currently the highest internationally ranked woman in the MLTT at #29. Who is the highest ranking male, and what is his ranking?

Question 4 (difficulty level: difficult): Name three (3) MLTT players who are either a current student or an alumnus/-ae of the collegiate table tennis powerhouse, Texas Wesleyan University (hint: there are a total of 5).

Question 5 (difficulty level: incredibly difficult with a twist): Name the six (6) current and/or former penholders in MLTT. That’s right, we said SIX!
